She has been voted one of the top female guitarists of all time, and is renowned for her gritty, soulful vocals. • Brian Whelan and Emily Zuzik

Collage was pleased to welcome two visionary singer-songwriters to our stage – Brian Whelan and Emily Zuzik. Whelan is perhaps best known for his work with Dwight Yoakam, Jim Lauderdale, and Chris Shiflett, all artists who blend American roots music, county, and personal style. There’s a vein of Americana in Emily Zuzik’s music too, woven in with straight ahead rock, Memphis Stax sounds, and just a little menace.

  • Crossover Cabaret

    Crossover Cabaret

The original idea of this concert was for four excellent performers to sing classic Broadway and pop standards with the genders reversed to show how songwriters use stereotypes, but something strange happened during the rehearsals. The show became a mix of storytelling, comedy, and stellar performances of both original and classic tunes to explore questions of sexuality and gender. This is a revealing and personal show like nothing you have seen before, featuring songs of courage and love that crosses all boundaries.
