Claudio Santini- Photography- Closing Reception 1/25, 2 pm
Claudio Santini’s photography first appeared in Italian magazines, and after he moved to the US in 1989 he became renowned for his moody architectural work in Sunset, Coastal Living, and the New York and Los Angeles Times. Along the way he developed unique ideas about the relationship between photography and painting, and he has exhibited his work internationally. At this reception where you may meet the artist, whose newest work will be on display through December. Opening Reception Saturday, November 30, 2 pm.
Elaine Hughes - Paintings - Opening Reception 2/8, 3:30 pm
Elaine Hughes's vivid depictions of Southern California beach scenes, flowers, and other subjects have won her numerous prizes, and she is a regular at art festivals and shows all over Southern California. Her expressive palette knife technique gives a powerful sense of movement and texture that puts the viewer in the moment. Her work will be on display in February and March at Collage. Opening Reception February 8th at 3:30 pm.
