COLLAGE is an arts venue in San Pedro that opened in July 2021.
The mission of COLLAGE is to serve both the local and broader community with programs that are adventurous yet accessible. This is done by taking an expansive view of art that can include the visual, performative, culinary, and literary world, and making culture inclusive to consider ethnicity, affinity, ability, and emerging ways people are brought together. COLLAGE builds relationships with artistic and cultural communities and provides a space where they may come together to teach, learn, and entertain.

The band has received mentorship from the Herbie Hancock Institute, and plays at a skill level far above most musicians their age. The Goldfinch Project /Odin Scott Coleman

The Goldfinch Project is multi-instrumentalists Chloe Resler and Seamus Guy, who play Down Home Klezmer- a blend of old time American music with Eastern European Jewish music. The mix is eclectic, fun, upbeat, and true to both traditions. Opening for them is Odin Scott Coleman, the winner of the 2024 Topanga Banjo Competition, will play some of his original tunes alongside accordionist Troy Dillinger. The four musicians will play some tunes together to finish the show, and it is sure to be a lively musical afternoon.

6 Cents is a light-hearted jazz trio, comprised of three of LA's finest: Dan Spector, Haze Bergeron and Mike Werner, with frequent appearance by guests and friends. The set includes originals, jazz standards, adapted rock standards and more. The approach is free form, so one never knows where any particular tune might end up. Each player throws their two cents into the mix and the result adds up!

May Open Jazz Jam – come and play!

Catch a groove as we play through jazz standards and free jams for two hours of creative improvisation. We have a piano and drum kit, and a house guitar and bass, and welcome all sorts of instruments. The jam will be led by Grant Hungerford, a trumpet player who studied at Juilliard and the Manhattan School of Music and has performed with the LA Philharmonic. Grant was professor of Trumpet at UC Santa Barbara and is also a private teacher, and he knows how to work with students at all levels.
